作品运用丝翎檀雕技法雕琢而成。画面一枝梅花斜出，繁花蓓蕾错落有致，瑞鸟栖于梅枝之上，翎羽层次细腻逼真，神态悠然灵动。梅取“眉”之谐音，喜鹊寓喜事临门，是传统经典吉祥题材。雕工虚实相生，木色沉静温润，将花鸟生机与红木质感融为一体，既有木雕精湛的匠心，又含迎春纳福、喜乐安康的美好祝愿，可置于案头，赏工艺，品雅韵。

This work is carved using the Silk-Feather Sandalwood Carving technique. In the composition, a branch of plum blossom extends at an angle, with dense blossoms and buds arranged in a well-balanced, naturally scattered manner. A magpie—an auspicious bird—perches on the plum branch, its plumage rendered in delicate, realistic layers, with a serene yet lively expression. The plum blossom (méi) is a homophone for “eyebrow” (méi), while the magpie symbolizes the arrival of joyous events; this is a classic traditional auspicious motif. The carving achieves an interplay between solid and void. The wood tone is calm and warm, blending the vitality of flowers and birds with the texture of rosewood. It embodies both the exquisite craftsmanship of wood carving and the beautiful wishes for welcoming spring and inviting blessings, as well as joy, peace, and good health. It can be placed on a desk to appreciate the craftsmanship and savor its refined elegance.
