作品甄选小叶紫檀雕琢而成，为丝翎檀雕台屏。瑞凤昂首而立，栖于山石之上，旁伴幽竹，云月隐于上空。作者以细刀层层刻画凤鸟翎羽，丝丝入理，尾羽婉转垂落，昂首鸣啸，神态雄俊灵动。山石苍劲，修竹挺拔，动静相生。凤凰自古为祥瑞之禽，凤鸣寓意佳音将至、福运自来；石喻稳固，竹表君子风骨。深沉木色衬得画面古雅厚重，刀工藏匠心，将灵瑞意境凝于方寸台屏，案头陈设，尽显东方木雕之大美。

This piece is carved from carefully selected small-leaf red sandalwood (Pterocarpus santalinus) and is a Silk-Feather Sandalwood Carving table screen. An auspicious phoenix stands with its head raised, perched atop a rock, accompanied by secluded bamboo, with clouds and the moon veiled in the sky above. With fine chisels, the artist carves the phoenix’s plumage layer by layer, every feather delicately rendered. Its tail feathers cascade gracefully downward, while it raises its head and calls aloud, majestic yet full of life. The rocks are rugged and vigorous, the tall bamboo upright, creating a harmony of movement and stillness. Since ancient times, the phoenix has been an auspicious bird; its call symbolizes that good news is near and blessings will come. The rock suggests stability, while bamboo embodies the noble integrity of a gentleman. The deep tone of the wood lends the scene antique elegance and dignified richness. The carving reveals the craftsman’s ingenuity, condensing an auspicious and ethereal artistic conception into a compact table screen.
